I offer a unique approach to physiotherapy treatment using hands-on myofascial techniques, gentle acupuncture and dry needling with exercises that help you get back to your life to enjoy it at its fullest.


Pilates

Pilates is a low-impact, full-body exercise system focusing on core strength, balance, posture, and flexibility through controlled movements and breath. We use high quality Balanced Body TM equipment such as reformer, tower, Pilates chair and much more. The Pilates Instructor has access and guidance from the physiotherapist at Trusting Hands.


Stretch, Strength and Conditioning

Our kinesiologist will help you stretch, strengthen and condition your body with the guidance of our physiotherapist.

Aileen graduated with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. With years of experience as a former figure skating competitor, she was surrounded by sport-related injuries and this inspired her to pursue active rehabilitation and injury prevention. Her approach emphasizes mobility, strength, and injury prevention, empowering clients to reach their goals while maintaining long-term health and balance. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing games, and occasionally returning to the ice for fun practice sessions.

Hadas Shapira is a certified Pilates instructor with a lifelong background in movement and dance. From a young age, she trained in rhythmic gymnastics and Israeli folk dance, developing a deep sense of rhythm, coordination, and body awareness that continues to shape her teaching today. Through her own journey of recovering from back pain and foot injuries, Hadas discovered the power of mindful movement and Pilates as a tool for healing, strength, and resilience. This personal experience allows her to approach teaching with empathy, precision, and a strong focus on safe, sustainable movement.
